I hope this year brings you lots of accomplishments and a healthy lifestyle 😉
If you haven’t done so, a great thing that you could do this year is to plan your targets and set dates in your calendar to review and manage them. After all, it was good old Benjamin Franklin who said “Failing to plan is planning to fail” (am I the only one that imagines the voice of an old man whilst reading the quote?)
Where can you start? Well first tell me what you want, what you really really want! (I was such an Emma Bunton/Baby Spice fan)
But seriously tell me a target for this year in one sentence. Do you have it?
Now tell me when do you want that by (give me a specific date, give me the minutes, the seconds… oh well, that might be too specific)
How will you know that you have accomplished it? Is there any indicator or measure that will let you know that you have achieved it? (income? Time difference? A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down?)
Is it achievable? And by that I mean that no harm will come to you (mentally or physically) whilst attempting to achieve it?
What does this target look like? Give me the details? What will you hear? What will you see? How will you feel? Where will you be? How much chocolate will you have ingested by then? (that last detail may or may not be applicable to everyone, my head works in mysterious ways)
Once you know all these details you will be able to put a plan of actions together and I recommend that you set milestones and review your progress frequently. And do not be too precious of the target as it may evolve with time! Be ready to change it if you think it is the right thing to do. This is the way. (sorry I am obsessed with the Mandalorian TV series)
And you know who can help you shape these targets and put together a plan? Well that would be moi! So if you feel that you need support make sure to contact me. And if you want to just have a 30 min chat just to explore what we can do: drop me a line I’ll do it for free!
Have a lovely start of the year and remember that you can follow me on LinkedIn or on Instagram where I share tips and where you can see my happy pug face 🙂
