You know, in these moments it has been becoming to me more apparent that time is the most precious resource to any individual. As they say tempus fugit, time escapes. It is something that you cannot get hold of and escapes from our hands like grains of sand (I may be getting too profound in here).
Investing your time correctly can bring you all types of profits, but believe me that there is nothing in this world that can bring time back (except for Cher, she can turn back time).
I am now doing all my work from home and have saved around 2h a day of travelling. We are talking about around 520h during the last year!!!! What to do with all that time? (I haven’t learnt crochet if that is what you are wondering)
In my case I have invested that time in self care and in self development (whilst practising self isolation, lol, I love dad jokes). And I have to say it has made a huge difference in my sleeping patterns and in my professional career.
As you can see, the sea keeps on swallowing the sands of time and it is up to us whether we have the courage to let ourselves go to navigate the waters (I am on fire today writing!).
I encourage you to invest in yourself and understand your needs and your purpose, or like Dolly Parton says “find out who you are, and do it on purpose”.
Have a wonderful beginning of February and remember that you can follow me on Instagram where I share tips and where you can see my happy pug face 🙂
